Heres a few more pages/flowers. I have decided that I dont thave to do just pages...anything I can get one will be a huge deal for me so even my flowers I make for my pages will count for me :)

This is what I got done for days 4-7 = 3 pages and a day of felt flower making.

I dont care for working on school pages so they tend to be quick and simple...lol

365 page goal

This year Im going to try to make 365 pages....one for every day, I might skip a day here and there due to life but hope to catch up now and then to stay on track :) So far Im caught up.....now these pages are not for photos on those days, just photos I need to get scrapped. Its just a personal goal to see if I can do it. I made myself a calendar so I can put the name of the page Im doing to make sure I stay on track ! Wish me luck....lol

Ok one of these pages I actually started last night (2011) but didnt finish till today 2012...lol So here are first pages for the new year, hope I can keep the ball rolling and get tons of pages done. I still have Disney, Hawaii, beach and daughters wedding to finish before new grandbaby comes !!

Im so far behind wedding was almost 2 years ago, beach 2 and 3 yrs back, disney was like 5 yrs ago and Hawaii you dont even want to know....LOL!

Heres the pages I made this week while watching scrapbook videos. All the flowers are handmade by me. As you can see I was in the foo-foo mood for some reason. Im posting a whole page photo, then a close up photo of the same page showing details. first page still needs title in the little stamped spot depending on my photo.

Ok I cant stop making handmade paper flowers for some reason.
I want to put them on a project or page but have to stop making them first....lol I keep think of new things to try or new color combos :)
I guess its a good thing to just make a bunch while you have your supplies out :)

Ok I sent the last couple days trying new things again and heres what I did.

All flowers are made with cardstock then I played with inks, chalks, watercolor paints, glimmer mist, alcohol inks, stickles and glitter ! :) Nothing better than a day covered in GLITTER !

Besides school will be starting soon again and then things will get crazy again. Its been so long since I have had time to post some pages Im not sure where to start...lol Im going to add what I can remember and hope I havent already posted them. Right now Im working on some scrapbook approns for hire, a 7x7 Valentine album for hire, 12x12 Heritage album for hire and a 12x12 school album as a gift for Spencers teacher. Will post pages as I get photos taken of everything. At work were getting ready for another scrapbook retreat weekend, I love those cause so many ladies show up and I get to meet new scrappers. I just found a few new fun treasures at the local fabric shop. They had toole with dots and hearts on them....love it. They also had beautiful flowers which I want to go back and get the other colors of. Then I got the beads on a string which look like flowers and my very very favorite thing is the diamond stuff, it was $3.25 a yard but well worth it cause its going to make a beautiful page !!!

Everyone has been asking to see my work space at work. I work at the LSS here in Corsicana,

called Scrappin Goodtime. I love to decorate everything, its fun to look at and make my space

"mine" so here are a few photos.....................

My whole work station...alittle bare cause I just cleaned it off after NSD and took some of my things back home. Im right in the front window so I get great lighting !

My pegboard my hubby made so I could hang samples. I got my name at Hobby Lobby and decorated it.

I just had to decorate my plain ole lamp and you can see I did my chair too....lol

Wow I have been so very busy the last few months. Im still working at the scrapbook / retreat. But we have had some horrible things happen to us these last few months...Husband lost his Mother, then our daughter lost her unborn baby...just a week later I lost my father. 3 losses in about 4 weeks was just about more than I thought I could handle. Hoping the rest of our year goes better.
On a happier note I did get some scrapbooking done the last couple weeks.
It will take a couple days to get everything loaded but I will get it done.
Oh and Im learning to solder too....not too good at it but Im going to take a class :)

The pages shown below were scrapbook for hire work, I did the pages and she later added the titles and journaling of her choice. Page size was 7x7.

I have been teaching classes at the local scrapbook store where I work and the most popular class has been my handmade flowers. I have taught 3 different types of flowers so far and have another 3 types to teach.

Here are a couple photos of just a few flowers I have made.

Flowers can be made with paper or cardstock, I added a dolie and beads.

I took a course so I could be a PK Glitz Instructor. PK has tons of glitter and I LOVE GLITTER....so it was a perfect fit for me. They have a few products but by far my favorites are the glitter and sticky tape. I have been making a few projects that I need to get posted but for now I will share the product and one page with you. Let me know if you have questions !

My working men have been very busy putting up walls for the new scrapbook store and retreat. Scott is making 5 bedrooms that will sleep a total of 14 ladies, a breakroom, dining room, hall and crop room for 14 ladies. Hes got about half of it done. I have taken a few photos along the way. Hes even got his own little personal helper....lol

Wow, Its been so long since I posted I had to go back and read my own postes to see what I needed to add...lol Im still working at the scrapbook store and Im the stores scrapbooker for hire so Im very busy. I have 3 books on my table right now and just finished a Military book for a group of ladies here who sent care packages to soldiers and got letters back...thats what I scrapped for them.
Were also getting ready to move the store to another site where we will be bigger and have a in store retreat. So busy busy things going on for me right now.
On a personal note: Just found out mother in law has small cell cancer and things are not going well for her.
But on a VERY GOOD NOTE....Im going to be a Grandma again #3 !!! :)

I just finished moving my scraproom around for a new look and thought maybe it was time to change up my blog too. Its taking alittle longer than I remembered it would cause Im a dummy and still do all the codes to make the blog look the way I want instead of just getting a already made theme for my blog. Its been awhile since I posted. We went to see daughter and grandsons, went to the beach, went to Six Flags, had nephew for a month, school shopping and then for some reason about 4 days ago I got tired of looking at my scrapbook room like it was so I took everything out and started over...lol We rent so we cant paint and the walls have dark ugly wallpaper so to brighten it up and covered the walls with white sheets...lol Atleast its bright and looks cleaner now. I moved all the furniture around and used 4 big shelves to make a wall. Then I put up new wall shelves. Now I'm trying to get everything back in but in white items like buckets, baskets and such. Things look much for uniform when everything matches :) I should be done tonight with all the little details and then back to scrapping.
Nothing better than messing up a perfectly clean scraproom !!!! LOL

Will try and get photos posted also.

Ok I have decided to make a 12x12 album (first in about 12 years). this book will be about scrapbooking, scrap friends, scrap shopping, crops, classes and anything else to do with scrapbooking. Im calling it "Wild Scrap Friends". I got a zebra print album and some goodies for it. My first 2 pages I did just this weekend. Will have new pages weekly cause I scrap with friends just about every weekend now.

I have been working on a book for Spencers teacher for 2 weeks now. And to be honest it was about a months worth of work (in my time) so I really had to step it up and stay up late for days in a row. BUT....I finished and gave the book to her today at the awards program. SHE CRIED !!! The kids loved looking at their pages with her and explaining what they each made for her in the book. Their photos we of things they did at school events and we put their autographs on the pages...lol I think it was a big hit and think all classrooms should have a scrapbook !! Ok here are the pages of the kids and their work. I didnt take photos of all the pages I made. I tried to keep the pages very clean and simple so the focus was on the kids and the artwork for her.

I have got to get all my NSD weekend crop pages posted cause I have over 50 pages made in the last 2 weeks for Spencers teacher. Im making her a scrapbook of all the kids in the class and the school events. The big shocker is the book is 12x12 and everyone knows I do only 8x8. 12x12 is much easier then I remember !! I am scrapping 22 kids with 2 pages each. One page is with their photo, name and decorations. 2nd page is a autograph from that kid with a pocket page which the kids made goodies for the teacher. This was her first year so we didnt want her to forget us.....lol I will share those pages very soon, need to take photos still.

I went to the LSS Scrappin Goodtime for the NSD crop. It started Friday and 10am and went till Sun. 5pm. We had some great laughs and I got alot of pages done this year. 18 pages I think. My Mother is here scrapbooking for the week and she went too. We have been scrapping and shopping all week and were going again ! We have gotten tons of new goodies to play with. I think Im on page 23 so far and just about done with it.

Our older son loves Lime Green and Panda Bears so when I go shopping for scrapbook supplies Im always looking for these cause they really are kinda hard to kind. Well this last trip I found about 7 lime green papers, lime green thickers and even 2 panda stamps (wow). So I wanted to share the page I made using these items.

I have been in scrapbook shopping mode for about 2 weeks !! I got some great things last week but I cant stop thinking about going again this week. There are so many new fun papers out there I want but need to get them from a LSS cause Hobby Lobby and Micheals wont have them. I love bright fun colorful papers and have seen everyone working with cute robot, monster and animal papers which I MUST HAVE....lol
So now I need to try and find out where a really good LSS is and figure out which days I want to go.

I have been trying to get my scraproom in order. I think were ALWAYS trying to do this...lol I use ALOT of stickles and puff paint so I wanted it within reach at all times, so I put them on these shelves that sit at the back of my table. Top row is glitter which I use alot of too.

Im waiting for my Mother to come so we can go scrap shopping but I couldnt stand it any longer and had to go for one day and play....lol I didnt go many places but I sure did good and found great goodies !! Ok I got the book all covered front and back. I outlined in purple so the letters will stand out. As you can see I also put photos in the letter "D" holes before I covered the back of those pages so they would be hidden when I get ready to decorate the back. You dont have to make both sides of the pages matching but I did cause my papers were so busy already.

Wedding Word Bloom album

I have been wanting to try a word bloom book for months and finally decided I would make my first one for my daughters wedding.

The albums are from: Heart of Texas

They are chipboard and have the letters cut out on the ends of the book so it reads "wedding" they make TONS of different words and can even custom make them. I just started my book today but thought I would post what I have so far so you can see how they work.

This is how you get the letters for the book.

Then you cover each letter with your paper.

Then you outline each letter so they stand out.

After I got all the letters covered and outlined I will have to do the backs and then I will be ready to decorate. Off to work on the book some more I will post more pages in progress very soon.

Ok were back from the beach and boy do I have some photos to scrap.I have got some printed and hope to be posting kids, grandsons, beach, 4-wheeler, and wedding pages soon. Were already planning our next trip.The boys just love the beach and didnt want to leave. We have even talked about moving there. My daughter is very happy with her life right now and Im so happy for her. Shes really working on making a great life for herself and has a great guy to stand by her side in her journey. Congrats to my Baby Girl and Nate.

Snowed in !

Ok I finally got a few more photos taken of some pages. Im hoping to get all my Jan pages posted before Feb. ends...lol Since were SNOWED in I hope to scrap this weekend. I took 162 photos last night of the boys in the snow.

I live in Texas and since we have lived here this time around (5yrs) we have only seen snow 3 times and the other 2 the snow melted before it even hit the ground so the photos were not that good and the boys didnt get to play in it.
Right now its 2am and its been snowing since 1pm so that alot of snow for us !!! Boys even got to make a snow man !
I cant wait to scrap those photos but till I do here are some of the pages from last month.

Our oldest grandson just loves to skateboard and while he was visiting at our house he showed off his skills. I couldnt believe how good he really was for only being 5 years old. He never even fell off except when he started skating into Papas raked leaves and jump off into them....lol

For my 2010 I pledge to again keep my Scrapbook Blog SCRAPBOOK.
Some of you have told me you love my "scrapbook blog" cause it really is about scrapbooking and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the kind words. I try every hard to keep it 99.9 % scrappy.
I too have gone to Scrapbook blog just to find posts about everything from Dr. visits to family troubles. Most of these ladies I dont know and feel funny reading about such things. I come to the blog to see their scrapbook work and read about things they had or kits they are sharing. I too think family things are for family blogs so I pledge again this year to keep my blogs separate :)
Thanks again to everyone who tells me you like my scrap blog it really does make me proud and fuzzy all over to know you enjoy the blog :)

Covering Albums

I have been busy covering albums. My Mother came down a couple months ago and I was saying I HATE that all the albums out there you can buy look alike....Im a different as in I love COLORFUL fun things and wanted albums to match. So we said lets just make our own....and WE DID !
We covered them in fabric that match each person the album was about.

There are all 8x8 post bound albums.

My youngest son loves military so I bought camo fabric and some with tank, soldiers and hummers on it. He also has Spiderman and Bowling.

Ashlie loves Tinkerbell, I also got Carebear for her toddler book and animals in pjs for her baby book.

Dakotas books hes 19 so his books were alittle harder but we got 2 done.

Here are the albums for our grandsons.
Bradon: Cars 3 yrs book, Motorcycles 5 years, working on others

Noah: Animals for baby to 1 yr, SpoungeBob for 2nd year

Even bought Beach fabric for all our beach photos.

This is my all time favorite so far....ROBOTS and even making pages !~

Even a couple books for me. One for my childhood, Motherhood, Grandmahood and Scrapbooking.

Now I just need to cover all our Disney and Hawaii books, find something for family albums and hubbys albums.
So I thought I would share my covered albums with you :)

I did this double page spread for my daughters book but still needed alittle more book but didnt want to make a third page. Since I do 8x8 books I took a 12x12 page protector and turned it into a 8x8 with some "extra" space for some more photos.

First 2 pages are showing the 2 page spread as you see it in the book. The 3rd page will show the "extra" space when you open it.

Oldies but cuties

I was looking through some supplies this weekend and came across these OLD stickers By Suzie Zoo. They have to be atleast 10 years old...did I say that....lol. But they are too cute not to use so I pulled out some old photos from back then that I didnt get scrapped yet and used them together cause

they were from the same time line. Funny cause I did a page about my youngest son being born and it was 7 years to the day the photo was taken.

Our baby just turned 7....wow !

So dont be affraid to pull out those old supplies and tie them in with some new things.

Been gone awhile........I was having so many internet problems but think everything is now fix and working again (fingers crossed) I have also been working with the girls at the Boys and Girls Club of America here in my town. Im teaching the scrapbooking and we are having so much fun !!!! I want to say thank you to my internet scrapbook friends who have sent me their unwanted scrapbook supplies for the girls to use !!!! I would run out of supplies very fast if it wasent for such great friends :) The girls and I love you .......Jill, Deanna, Brenda, Michelle C, Valerie.

Pooh is for my book with handcut flowers from pattern paper and then pop dotted to stand out. Fishing page is really just alot of stickers but I got to scrap a photo from about 10 years ago :)

Bowling

Our son is so fair skinned we didn't want him outside playing sports just yet but we wanted him to do something to get out of the house and be apart of a team so we signed him up for bowling. He LOVES it !!!!
He has his own little calendar and marks off the days till bowling night !Hes been bowling 5 weeks and is already talking about his own shoes and own bowling ball.....lol
I'm making him a book of just his bowling cause it lasts a year and that will be alot of pages ! I'm making a 2 page spread every week. some of my pages are starting to look alike cause I'm fitting his scores on the page and it don't leave much room after that but were still having fun !

Week of scrapping

My Mother was here all last week and we got lots of scrapping done and some scrap shopping done too !! It will take me a couple days to get photos of all my pages I did but heres a couple for now.

Fairy Godmothers: I handcut circles from the papers, popdotted and glittered them to stand out.

Cupcake: I hand made my own cupcakes. I added puff paint and glitter.

I made a page today about trying out for Design Teams.

It sucks cause you will try out for TONS of teams before someone will pick you. It seems the sites and forums always go for the same style scrapper which are those who pile of the flowers and pretty papers. If you look all their teams members pages really look alike. I hate that cause to be honest there are more of us "regular" scrappers than there are those fancy scrappers.

Their work is beautiful to look at but lets get real and put some ladies on those design teams that we ALL can look up to and get ideas from !!!!

NEVER give up ladies, just keep trying even if its for a team with no goodies in return. Just get your foot in the door :)

Clean and Simple

Your going to be seeing some clean and simple pages from me over the next couple weeks. I printed all the photos of my grandsons from their visit here with hubby and I. Im making them a little book for their house so they can look back on the times spent with Grammy and Papa.

Funky stuff

A couple days ago I found some funky stuff at Walmart in the
ribbon by the year area.....its kinda like lace but not.
It had looks on it and they must have elastic in them cause
they spring when you pull them. It lays very flat on pages too.
Here is a page I made using this fun stuff....its the PINK stuff.

NOTE: It does come unraveled when you cut it so I coated my ends
with "Glossy Accents" you could use anything that drys CLEAR.
